    Prayer Requests
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. - Colossians 4:2

At Quaker Monastery, our lives are dedicated to prayer:
Pray with unceasing prayer and entreaty on every fitting occasion in the Spirit, and be always on the alert to seize opportunities for doing so, with unwearied persistence and entreaty on behalf of all God's people. - Ephesians 6:16

Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life for all Christians. It is an unfathomable privilege and blessing to be able to rest our hearts and minds in the presence of God the Almighty, the Creator of the universe, and know that He loves us as our Father and listens to our concerns through the merit of His son, Christ Jesus. On a clear night, gaze up into the starry heavens and just think about that. The Creator of the entire, vast, unknowable universe, knows and loves you.

God is waiting for all who love Him to cast their burdens upon Him in faith. But, sometimes prayer does not come easily and it can help to know that others are praying with and for thee.

If thee would like the community at Quaker Monastery to pray for thee, submit thy prayer request (form below) and it will be taken to the
Light of Christ Peace Chapel, and placed in the private prayer box (not viewable to the public) on the prayer table where the peace candle burns.

While many peace pilgrims and people of various faiths do come to Quaker Monastery to be still and know God in the peace of quiet, there are many who may never be able to visit us in person. But where ever you are, we would be glad to hear from and pray for thee.

Whatever may be thy concern, remember Paul's comforting words to the Philippians:
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. - Philippians 4:6

Unfortunately, we may not be able to reply personally to prayer requests, but be assured that prayer requests are added to our daily prayer intentions.

    May God bless thy day.
